Cyclone Dana: Some trains from Chennai, other parts of Tamil Nadu cancelled

Several train services have been cancelled by East Coast Railway in light of cyclone Dana, with many affecting routes passing through or originating from Chennai. Some notable cancellations include the Coromandel Express and Superfast Express trains scheduled for Oct 23 and 24. The SMVT Bengaluru – Guwahati Express via Jolarpet, Katpadi, Arakkonam, and Perambur is also cancelled on Oct 23. These cancellations are being made as a safety measure to protect passengers during the cyclone.
