Ahead of the Maharashtra elections, a BJP member in Mumbai has put up posters featuring UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with the slogan “Batenge to Katenge.” BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi explained that the slogan is a reminder of the horrors of partition during India’s Independence and the need to prevent such divisions in society. Yogi Adityanath had also emphasized the importance of national unity, warning against the consequences of division in society by stating “Batenge to Katenge.” He highlighted the turmoil in Bangladesh as an example, emphasizing the need for unity for the nation’s progress and prosperity.
