Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar announced that the seat-sharing arrangement for the Maharashtra elections will be finalized soon, with some challenges in Vidarbha. He mentioned that 17 seats will be finalized by tomorrow evening, with issues in 6-7 seats in Vidarbha that will also be resolved. The BJP’s list for Vidarbha included no surprises, with 19 sitting MLAs out of 23 candidates selected. Vidarbha is expected to play a crucial role in government formation, regardless of which alliance wins the elections.
