A 64-year-old man in Bengaluru killed his 36-year-old son after frequent fights, as the son would come home drunk and create a ruckus. The father, Lingappa, assaulted his son Rajesh with a wooden plank and strangled him with a rope between 12.50am and 1.15am. Rajesh’s cousin was called by his aunt, Puttamma, to pacify him, but when he arrived at the house, he found Rajesh lying unconscious near the gate. Puttamma explained that Rajesh had been fighting with his father after getting drunk, leading to the tragic incident.
