A man accused of attempted murder was granted bail by a court in New Delhi. The court mentioned that the investigation was complete, the chargesheet was filed, and the weapon used in the offence was recovered. The court felt that keeping the accused behind bars would not serve any purpose. The prosecution claimed that the accused fired at the victim following a quarrel, but the accused’s lawyer argued that he was falsely implicated. The court granted bail with conditions, including a bail bond of Rs 50,000 and one surety of the same amount.
