The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centres (IEDC) summit held at the National Institute of Technology – Calicut (NIT-C) saw around 10,000 student entrepreneurs from Kerala sharing their ideas and experiences. With over 100 speakers covering various trending topics, the summit aimed to connect student innovators with industry leaders and start-ups. Key speakers included DRDO Director General Dr. B.K. Das and NIT-C Director Prof. Prasad Krishna. The event also honored achievements like Team Horizon from Cochin University and Thej T. Thomas from Rajagiri School of Engineering. The Kerala Startup Mission (KSUM) has established 502 IEDCs in educational institutions to support entrepreneurship development in the state.
