The Telangana State Police will be honoring the brave police personnel who have sacrificed their lives in the line of duty on Police Commemoration Day, observed on October 21. This day pays tribute to the CRPF jawans who were ambushed by Chinese forces at Hot Springs, Ladakh in 1959. The Telangana Police will be hosting physical and virtual open houses for schools, colleges, and community groups to interact with officers and learn about police operations, as well as an online essay writing competition for students in Telugu, Urdu, and English. This day serves as a reminder of the courage and dedication of our police forces.
