A brush fire in Oakland, California, named the Keller Fire, sparked evacuation orders as it burned two homes on Friday. Crews are working hard to fully extinguish the fire, which started in a home on Mountain Avenue and spread to 15 acres due to wind carrying flames into a grove of Eucalyptus trees. The fire is currently 50% contained. Two homes have been impacted by flames, but no other homes were damaged. Evacuation orders were issued for several areas, and residents were urged to leave immediately for their safety. One homeowner, Delane Sims, expressed gratitude that her husband was able to escape when the fire caused a window to explode.
