The Enforcement Directorate conducted raids on former YSR Congress MP and Telugu film producer MVV Satyanarayana’s properties in Visakhapatnam in connection with a land-grabbing case. The searches were based on an FIR filed by the police following a complaint by a construction company owner who alleged that Satyanarayana and others tried to grab land allotted for an old age home and orphanage using forged documents. Satyanarayana obtained anticipatory bail in a local police case but continues to face scrutiny. He is a prominent figure in the Telugu film industry, known for producing several films.
