A 29-year-old police constable named Selvamurugan tragically passed away after slipping from the 14th floor of a water tank near Rajarathinam Stadium in Chennai. He was simply checking the water level when the accident occurred. Selvamurugan was a native of Sankarankovil in Tenkasi district. The Egmore police station has opened an investigation into the incident.
