Air India is upgrading its fleet with 27 older narrowbody planes set to be fully refurbished by mid-2025. The revamped A320neo will have luxurious Business Class seats, extra legroom in Premium Economy, and comfortable Economy seats. After merging with Vistara, Air India promises to continue the Vistara experience with flights now carrying a unique Air India code. Passengers can expect the same routes, schedules, and in-flight experience, along with more opportunities for seamless connections to over 90 domestic and international destinations. Existing Vistara Club members will transition to Air India’s Flying Returns program, now known as the ‘Maharaja Club.’ Additionally, Air India is upgrading its widebody fleet with new aircraft and retrofitting older planes with modern amenities.
