Pakistan edge past Japan in Asian hockey event



Pakistan secured their first win in the Asian Hockey Champions Trophy by defeating Japan 2-1. Nadeem Ahmed and Sufyan Khan scored the goals for Pakistan in a thrilling match. Their previous games against South Korea and Malaysia ended in draws. Meanwhile, Australian hockey player Tom Craig has been banned for 12 months after his arrest for suspicion of buying cocaine during the Paris Olympics. Craig admitted his mistake and apologized to his family, friends, and teammates. He will be eligible for the 2025 Australia squad.
