Officials from the Ministry of Civil Aviation recently appeared before a standing committee after multiple bomb threats were made to flights. The threats continued with at least nine more flights receiving warnings on social media, including those from Air India, Vistara, and IndiGo. One Vistara flight had to make an emergency landing due to a security alert. Five Air India flights also received threats but landed safely. A minor was arrested for sending hoax threats, and the Ministry of Civil Aviation is planning to implement stricter rules to prevent such incidents in the future, including placing perpetrators on the no-fly list. Law enforcement agencies are actively investigating these cases.
