Pusam Ashok, an 18-year-old from the Gond tribal community, has secured a seat for MBBS at TRR Institute of Medical Sciences but is facing a financial hurdle. He needs at least 2 lakh more for hostel accommodation and other expenses. Despite approaching the ITDA and seeking help from the tribal community, he is still short on funds. To save money, Ashok is working in his agricultural field. His parents, who did not receive an education, are unaware of what MBBS is. Ashok’s dream is to serve tribals in Agency areas as a doctor.
