100 pregnant women shifted to hospitals in Prakasam district amid heavy rain forecast



Prakasam District Collector A. Thameem Ansaria is taking steps to ensure the safety of cyclone-affected families in the area. With heavy rain expected, he has urged officials to focus on pregnant and lactating women to prevent any loss of life. He has advised people to stay indoors for the next three days unless it’s an emergency and urged expectant mothers to seek medical help. Relief centers have been set up in inundated areas and pregnant women are being shifted to health centers. The district administration is working diligently to clear stagnant water and provide necessary assistance to those affected.
