KSRTC launches 10 new premium superfast AC buses

The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) introduced 10 new premium superfast AC buses with advanced amenities for passengers. These BS-VI-compliant buses manufactured by Tata Motors offer free wifi, mobile charging points, reading lamps, and more. They also feature safety enhancements like electronic stability control and AI camera-assisted driver monitoring. The ticket rates are slightly higher than existing super fast buses but more economical than other AC buses. The buses were launched based on positive feedback from a trial run and will gradually replace old buses. Customers can book seats through the KSRTC mobile app. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the service at the KSRTC headquarters, emphasizing the government’s commitment to providing better facilities for passengers and supporting the Corporation.
