People in Hyderabad paid tribute to former Delhi University professor GN Sai Baba, who passed away after battling a gall bladder ailment. He was acquitted of charges of having links with the banned CPI (Maoist) after spending 10 years in jail. His body was taken to Telangana Martyrs’ statue and then to his residence for people to pay their respects. Various political leaders and organizations, including BRS, Congress, and Civil Liberties Committees, paid their tributes. Some unexpected slogans were raised against BRS MLA KTR, causing regret among CLC members. Many individuals, including professor PK Vijayan and Jenny Rowena, paid their last respects to Sai Baba.
