Tusker Padayappa’s ‘unique bond’ with a house in Devikulam

A wild tusker named Padayappa has developed a unique bond with a house in Devikulam, Munnar. The elephant has been visiting the house for the past five years without causing any harm to the property or people. During his recent visit, Padayappa opened the gates with his tusks, ate guavas, vegetables, and flowers from the plantation, and left without causing any damage. The owner, Mukkath George, believes that the elephant is drawn to the farm full of fruits. Experts suggest that Padayappa recognizes the area as a safe space and follows a traditional elephant path. The Rapid Response Team safely chased the elephant away from the area.
