Former Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal expressed concerns about public safety following the killing of NCP leader Baba Siddique in Mumbai. Kejriwal stated that the incident has created fear not only in Maharashtra but across the country. Siddique, a former Maharashtra minister and member of Ajit Pawar’s faction within the NCP, was shot and later succumbed to his injuries. Mumbai Police have registered a case and arrested two suspects, with a search ongoing for a third. Siddique, known for hosting well-attended Iftar parties with Bollywood stars, was a respected three-time MLA from Bandra West.
