King Charles won’t travel to Australia without medical team

King Charles III is preparing for a royal tour to Australia, but he will be accompanied by his medical team due to his ongoing battle with cancer. The 75-year-old monarch will be joined by two doctors during his trip, which will include visits to Australia and Samoa from October 18 to October 26. The decision to pause his cancer treatment while abroad was made based on doctors’ advice, and he will resume treatment upon his return to the UK. This trip will be closely monitored to prevent the King from being overworked, marking his first visit to a Commonwealth realm during his reign.
