The Tiruvallur police acted quickly to evacuate victims from a mangled express train, resulting in no casualties. Superintendent of Police and his team rescued trapped passengers from various compartments, including air-conditioned coaches. The police also arranged ambulances, food, and transport for the passengers. The victims were shifted to hospitals for treatment. The railway police have registered a case and started investigating the cause of the accident. Tamil Nadu Police DGP and other officers praised the Tiruvallur police for their swift and effective response in rescuing the victims.
