Duchess Sophie charms fans as she follows in footsteps of Kate Middleton

The Duchess of Edinburgh, Sophie, recently participated in a special CBeebies Bedtime Story in honor of World Sight Day. She read a charming tale about a lion named Rex who feels hesitant to wear his new glasses to school. Viewers were charmed by Sophie’s story choice and delivery, with many praising her soothing voice. Sophie also highlighted the importance of taking care of our eyes on World Sight Day, a cause close to her heart as a Global Ambassador for the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness. The Duchess is not the first royal to read a bedtime story on CBeebies, with Princess Diana having done so in the past to raise awareness for children’s mental health. Many famous faces have also joined the program over the years.
