Durga Puja in NCR: Spotlight on women’s safety & folk art | Delhi News



The Durga Puja pandals in NCR this year are celebrating various themes, from women’s empowerment to rural Bengali heritage. The Bangiya Parishad pandal resembles Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar’s Barnaparichay, while others focus on safety for women and traditional folk arts. The decorations range from Kashi Vishwanath temple-inspired designs to alpona motifs and patachitra art. Some pandals highlight the hardships faced by abandoned mothers, while others showcase the beauty of gram Bangla. Artists have put in a lot of effort to create unique and meaningful displays, making this year’s Durga Puja celebrations in NCR truly special.
