Stocks making the biggest moves midday: Norwegian Cruise Line, Reddit, Chewy, Boeing and more



In midday trading, several companies made headlines. Astera Labs saw a 15.6% increase in shares after debuting new fabric switches for artificial intelligence. Norwegian Cruise Line’s shares rose by 11% following a Citi upgrade. Bayer’s U.S.-traded shares fell nearly 7% due to a case against the company alleging harm from exposure to Monsanto products. Reddit’s stock moved slightly higher after receiving a buy rating from Jefferies. Arcadium Lithium surged 30.9% after Rio Tinto announced its acquisition. GitLab’s stock rose over 7% as Morgan Stanley initiated coverage with an overweight rating. Helen of Troy saw an 18% increase in stock after beating earnings expectations. Chewy’s shares rose over 3% after receiving a buy rating from TD Cowen. Boeing’s shares fell 3% due to a machinists’ union strike, and S & P Global Ratings issued a negative outlook. Alphabet’s stock dropped 1.5% after news of a possible breakup of Google.
