Mercedes-Benz has officially launched the sixth-generation E-Class in India, with prices starting at Rs 78.5 lakh. The new model offers practical features like a spare wheel beneath the boot floor and locally manufactured side and quarter glasses, catering to the Indian market. Production of this model has begun at Mercedes-Benz’s Chakan plant. The E-Class lineup includes a powerful 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, along with two 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine options. The E-Class LWB offers a luxurious rear seating experience, with reclining seats, extendable thigh support, and advanced technology features. In terms of safety, the E-Class LWB is equipped with Level 2 ADAS and a front center airbag, making it a safe and luxurious option for Indian customers.
