Masterplan seeks to restore the past glory of Ruwi CBD

The areas around the clock tower in Ruwi are set to be revitalized according to the Greater Muscat Structure Plan. The plan includes the creation of the Blue Spine Metro corridor and allows property owners to add floors to their buildings. The goal is to revitalize the Central Business District and Muttrah Business District areas. The plan also includes transit-oriented development to improve transportation and bring people and activities together. The revitalization will be done in four phases and will include a complete facelift for the clock tower area with new amenities and green spaces.
