Delhi’s new Chief Minister Atishi, who was sworn in recently, is set to take charge on Monday along with other ministers. She will continue to hold 13 portfolios, including education, revenue, finance, power, and PWD. Saurabh Bharadwaj, with eight portfolios, has already taken charge. Mukesh Kumar Ahlawat has been assigned five departments. Gopal Rai, Kailash Gahlot, and Imran Hussain will also retain their portfolios. At 43, Atishi is the second youngest CM of Delhi and the 17th woman to hold the post of a chief minister in independent India. The Delhi assembly session is scheduled for September 26 and 27.
