Malayali CA’s death: Nirmala Sitharaman suggests stress management in colleges, Cong terms ‘heartless’ | India News



Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has suggested that colleges and universities should provide stress management lessons to students to increase their inner strength, following the death of a young CA professional at EY. The government has also promised to investigate the work environment at EY. Sitharaman emphasized the importance of teaching inner strength along with education and called for the inclusion of divinity and spirituality in educational institutions. The opposition Congress criticized Sitharaman’s remarks as “cruel” and blamed the corporate system for exploiting young professionals like the deceased. They called for reforms to protect employees in toxic work environments.
