A tragic incident occurred in Bengaluru where a 10-year-old boy named Niranjan lost his life after an iron gate of a playground fell on him. The boy, a student of class 5, suffered head injuries and was declared brought dead at the hospital. Despite complaints from residents about the poor maintenance of the playground, no action was taken by the BBMP. The boy’s mother believes it was negligence on the part of the officials. The BBMP West Zone Commissioner has ordered a detailed inquiry into the incident to determine the cause of this unfortunate event.
