AP poll reaction: What’s next for each Top 25 team?



The new AP Top 25 college football poll is out, and Texas has an impressive streak of scoring 50-plus points in four straight home games. Ohio State’s Jeremiah Smith is making history as the second true freshman with four touchdown receptions over a three-game span. Tennessee had a long streak of not allowing touchdowns until Oklahoma scored in the fourth quarter. Miami has the largest point differential through four games in program history. USC struggled against Michigan, while LSU’s Garrett Nussmeier set a record for completions. Notre Dame has held their last 18 opponents under 400 total yards. Clemson had four different runners score touchdowns against NC State. Iowa State’s Rocco Becht has a streak of passing yards and touchdowns. Oklahoma State’s Ollie Gordon II had a rare streak of not scoring rushing touchdowns. Texas A&M’s Marcel Reed is making history with passing touchdowns and rushing yards. Boise State’s Ashton Jeanty has rushed for the fourth-most yards in the last 15 years.
