Milma’s Thiruvananthapuram regional union reports record sales during Onam

The Thiruvananthapuram Regional Cooperative Milk Producers Union (TRCMPU) of Milma had a successful Onam season, making ₹32 crore from the sale of milk, curd, ghee, and other dairy products. They saw high sales in the four southern districts they cover, with over 38 lakh litres of milk and 3.36 lakh litres of curd sold. On Uthradam day, they broke records with 13.62 lakh litres of milk and 145 metric tonnes of curd sold. TRCMPU credited their success to the hard work of their employees, dairy farmers, agencies, trade unions, distribution and vehicle staff, and loyal consumers. They had made special arrangements and implemented incentive schemes for the festival season sales, which paid off well.
