CM calls for strengthening inclusive measures for people with disabilities



Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan emphasized the importance of inclusivity for people with disabilities in society. He highlighted Kerala’s efforts in becoming a model state for being differently abled friendly. The Inclusive India travel campaign, led by the Different Art Centre (DAC), aims to promote social inclusion and awareness across the country. The campaign will start on World Cerebral Palsy Day and end on World Disability Day, traveling from Kanyakumari to Kashmir. Minister for Social Justice R. Bindu praised DAC for empowering the differently abled community. Paralympian Boniface Prabhu, the brand ambassador for the campaign, also participated in the event, which included a dance performance with sign language interpretation.
