A 29-year-old woman’s dismembered body was found in a house in Bengaluru, cut into over 30 pieces and stuffed in a refrigerator. Police suspect it to be a case of murder that took place about a week ago. Senior police officers have barricaded the area and an investigation has been launched. The victim, Mahalakshmi, was living separately from her husband who worked in a hermitage away from the city. The incident is reminiscent of another brutal murder where a woman was strangled, dismembered, and stored in a fridge by her live-in partner in Delhi.
