3 Nepal nationals held for death of newborn in Wayanad

The Kalpetta police arrested three individuals in connection with the death of a newborn in May. The suspects, all from Nepal, were involved in providing medication to induce an abortion for a pregnant woman, who ultimately gave birth in a bathroom. One of the suspects allegedly strangled the newborn and discarded the body. The woman returned to Nepal but later filed a complaint, leading to the arrests. The police are investigating and searching for the newborn’s body.
