Secret Service admits to “mission failure” at Trump rally in July



The Secret Service has acknowledged that they failed in their mission to protect former President Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania in July where there was an assassination attempt. The House has passed a bill to enhance Secret Service protections for presidential and vice presidential candidates after two assassination attempts against Trump. The agency’s acting director admitted to the failure at the rally, highlighting the need for improved security measures.
