A woman police constable in Ahmedabad filed a complaint with the Madhavpura police alleging that a man was constantly calling the control room number 100 and abusing the cops on duty. The constable, Chhaya Parmar, stated in her FIR that she has been working with the city police since 2017 and is currently deployed at the commissioner’s office. The man’s actions disrupted the functioning of the control room and kept the line busy. Madhavpura police have registered a complaint and initiated an investigation under relevant sections of the law.
