Union Civil Aviation Minister Rammohan Naidu recently launched the DigiYatra facility at nine more Airports Authority of India-owned airports in the country. These airports include Visakhapatnam, Patna, Raipur, Bhubaneswar, Goa (Dabolim), Indore, Ranchi, Coimbatore, and Bagdogra. The project aims to achieve contactless, seamless processing of passengers at airports using Facial Recognition Technology. Minister Naidu emphasized that DigiYatra is a significant technological advancement in the Civil Aviation Industry and has already gained widespread acceptance with over three crore users.
