Illegal spas and massage centers in Coimbatore are offering nude body massages with ‘happy endings’ for a price of ₹2,000 to ₹3,000 per hour. The city police have closed down 72 of these establishments so far this year and are planning to intensify their crackdown. A recent bust revealed a sex racket operated by individuals with international connections, bringing women from Russia and other countries for flesh trading. Many of these spas are operating without proper licenses and certifications, and are luring customers through online advertisements. The police are closely monitoring these establishments to prevent further illegal activities.
