Milma, the Kerala Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation, has achieved record sales of milk, curd, and other dairy products during the Onam season. On Uthradam day, the outlets sold a total of 37,00,365 litres of milk and 3,91,576 kg of curd. The cooperative also supplied 1,33,47,013 litres of milk and 14,95,332 kg of curd six days before Thiruvonam. The sale of ghee reached 814 metric tons on Sept 12. Milma has been increasing its seasonal sales, maintaining its position as the market leader in dairy products. Plans were made in advance to ensure a steady supply of products during the festive season.
