Prime Minister Narendra Modi has announced financial assistance for the victims of a tragic drowning incident in Dehgam. The families of the deceased will receive Rs 2 lakh each from the PMNRF, while the injured will be granted Rs 50,000. The victims, aged between 20 and 25, drowned while bathing in the river before carrying out a Ganesha idol immersion ritual. The announcement was made by the Prime Minister’s Office, offering support to those affected by the devastating incident.
