The MG Windsor EV has entered the Indian electric passenger vehicle market, competing with the likes of Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400. It is the third electric car from MG in India, following ZS EV and Comet EV. The market has seen an increase in electric car offerings, with Tata Motors and MG Motor gaining attention. Mahindra also offers the XUV400 in the electric car space. The Windsor EV is priced at ₹9.99 lakh with a battery subscription option, while the XUV400 is priced between ₹15.49 lakh and ₹17.69 lakh. The Windsor EV has a 38 kWh battery with 134 bhp power and 331 km range, while the XUV400 comes in two variants with up to 456 km range.
