Five individuals were arrested at the airport in Trivandrum for possessing fake passports. Immigration officials suspect a larger operation providing fake passports and are calling for a thorough investigation. The arrested individuals were trying to secure jobs in the Gulf using forged documents. They have been remanded on charges of cheating, forgery, and fraudulent use of forged documents under various sections of the Passports Act. This comes after a total of six individuals were arrested in just two days for similar offenses.
