In Ahmedabad, the city took down more than 35 illegal buildings in the Sarkhej ward. These structures were being built without permission near Hid Park and Masjid-e-Abeda, including row houses and commercial units. The civic body had previously warned the developers to stop construction, but they did not comply, so the AMC had to step in and demolish the buildings. The operation was supervised by the Sarkhej police to ensure everything went smoothly.
