The Yellow Line of Bangalore’s metro system is nearing its debut, with oscillation and Emergency Braking System trials underway. The 19.15-km RV Road-Bommasandra stretch is being tested by RDSO, with the aim of launching the line by December. Trains from CRRC Nanjing Puzhen Co Ltd are being tested for safety and comfort, with the hope that the line will be approved by November. The final step will involve a statutory inspection by the Commissioner of Metro Rail Safety. The BMRCL is optimistic about the line’s progress and potential grand opening.
