CPM General Secretary Sitaram Yechury is in critical condition at AIIMS for an acute respiratory tract infection. He is on respiratory support in the ICU, and a team of doctors is closely monitoring his condition. Yechury was admitted on August 19 for treatment of a pneumonia-like chest infection.
