He urged manufacturers to start driver-training schools to ensure that drivers are aware of local regulations and skilled in operating vehicles. Gadkari also highlighted the importance of Bharat NCAP, India’s crash-safety ratings program for vehicles. He called for a collaborative effort from all stakeholders to reduce accidents and make roads safer for motorists and pedestrians.
