2 charged in ‘terrorgram’ group used to spread white supremacist messages: DOJ

Two individuals have been charged by federal prosecutors for their involvement in a white supremacist Telegram group that promoted hate and incited violence. Dallas Humber and Matthew Allison are accused of soliciting hate crimes, promoting the murder of federal officials, and conspiring to support terrorists through their group, the “Terrorgram Collective.” The group spread messages advocating for white supremacist accelerationism and violence to spark a race war. The indictment alleges that Humber and Allison encouraged followers to attack government buildings and politicians. Attorney General Merrick Garland emphasized that hate crimes online will not go unpunished. Humber pleaded not guilty, and it is unclear if Allison has legal representation.
