Police union: Tyreek Hill was ‘uncooperative’ during traffic stop

The Miami-Dade police officers’ union stated that Tyreek Hill was briefly detained before the Dolphins’ game for safety reasons due to his dangerous driving, but he was never arrested. Hill was uncooperative and refused to sit, leading to being redirected to the ground. He received traffic citations and was free to leave. The incident is under investigation, with one officer on administrative duties. Hill’s attorney believes the officers’ actions were excessive. Hill played in the game and expressed confusion over the situation. The Dolphins coach found the incident unsettling and emphasized the importance of listening to players’ perspectives. The NFL Players Association is monitoring the situation, and the mayor commended the investigation. This is not the first off-field incident involving Hill.
