Chandrababu’s arrest a year ago turned out to be the ‘foundation for YSRCP grave’: Lokesh

Women supporters of the Telugu Desam Party staged a protest against the arrest of party president N. Chandrababu Naidu in Visakhapatnam. TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh marked the one-year anniversary of his father’s arrest in a skill development scam case. He claimed that the arrest was the beginning of the downfall of the YSR Congress Party and implicated Mr. Naidu in a false case. People took to the streets demanding justice for Mr. Naidu, accusing YSRCP president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of having a penchant for power. Mr. Naidu was detained in 2023 and remained in judicial remand for 53 days.
