He secured a spot in the second round with a thrilling overtime victory at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Logano is aiming to become the only active three-time Cup champion in NASCAR. Ryan Blaney initially finished second but was moved to third after a review. Christopher Bell and Alex Bowman rounded out the top five. Kyle Larson had a tough day with a crash that dropped him to 10th in the standings. Denny Hamlin also struggled, falling to 11th. The next race is at Watkins Glen, where Hendrick Motorsports drivers have had recent success.
